There is a lot of hype around here about the Trail of Lights in downtown Austin. We went with our neighbors and chose a week night hoping it wouldn't be so crazy crowded...but oh how we were wrong! It took us 2 hours to make it into the parking lot. Luckily Max was sleepy and took a long nap because I wasn't prepared for so much time in the car!
Once we finally made it in, we were happy to be there. It was very beautiful, fun and festive but probably not something we will be doing every year.
This is the famous gigantic Christmas tree...once we stepped inside, we twirled while looking up. Makes you very dizzy but it looked awesome.
