The day after Christmas we had some special visitors. Sandra, the woman who Josh baptized while serving a mission in Dallas, and her family came to see us. It was fun to catch up with them and they brought gifts. Her mom had knitted us all scarves and a blanket for Max. It was so incredibly thoughtful.
It was a neat sight to see our kids playing together. So grateful for the church and for Elder Miles who served faithfully nearly 12 years ago, who found this sweet woman searching for the truth. I love that she hugs me like we are family. There is a special bond there.
I also love this insanely warm weather the day after Christmas!
