One Saturday we wanted to do some exploring. We made the two hour drive to McCall. It was gorgeous! The kids kept calling it our "family fun day".  First up..when we got there we stopped for burgers and pizza for lunch. 

Love these fake smiles. Why the look? Was there something in my teeth?

Next we did some hiking..found a simple path for the kids.

We were excited to see a deer (photo from the car)..

After the hike, we were hot and the kids did some swimming at Ponderosa state park.

After changing the kids into some dry clothes, we headed to Ice Cream Alley..which was supposed to be a big deal. It didn't disappoint.

 The alley was full on names that had been etched into the brick. The kids wanted to be a part of it.

 Then we headed home.
