We had a wonderful day. It was perfect 70 degree weather. I don't remember the last time I wore pants in July. We started off the day playing in the yard...and washing the car. Pretty exciting stuff!
Max could have done this all day! He was soaked once the job was done.
We then headed out to the figure eight races and demolition derby.
It was some good red neck fun! The crowd was just as entertaining as the race. It attracts quite the crowd. Poor Elizabeth was sitting right behind a touchy feely couple that forced us to get the giggles.
There was no way that Max was going to keep his ear plugs in.
The kids were so fascinated. Teegan and Ella usually picked out their favorite race car and cheered for it through out the race. Teegan had his eye out for the zombie car..
Fireworks followed. Always the best part of the evening.
