The kiddos made some sugar cookies for Santa. They really enjoyed frosting them. Let's just say more of it ended up in their bellies than on the cookies. They added plenty of sprinkles too..just for good measure.
Excitement was in the air. Everyone was extra silly & happy knowing that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

We bought these costumes for super cheap, but didn't have high expectations since these kids are so young. We thought it might just be chaotic.
Introducing the stars of the show:
Ella as Mary,
Teegan as Joseph, Camdyn as the angel,
Cade as a donkey, and Cole as a sheep.

To our surprise, these kids sure took their roles seriously {except that Camdyn thought she was a butterfly..it took some convincing that she was in fact an angel.}
It was neat to see the kids play these special characters. They were respectful & reverent with baby Jesus as they passed him around. It was a wonderful way to feel the spirit and remember the true meaning of Christmas.

After the show..was the feast! Josh's mom was slaving away in the kitchen all day. It was delicious.
Josh told the kids since they were stars of the show, they got to have gold silverware. Did they feel cool or what? Teeg suggested they also have gold cups and plates. :) Nice try!
New Jammies and it's off to bed so Santa can come.
