How in the world is my first born 7 years old??

We sure love having this boy around. He makes being a parent easy...most days. He is sweet, thoughtful, happy, sensitive, and darn funny!

He loves riding his bike, playing baseball, the games Minecraft and Yahtzee, basketball with his friends at recess, the color blue, reading any Magic Tree House books, and eating fried chicken.

He is very inquisitive. I love the way his mind works and the questions he asks like...

"If a white mom has a baby in China, will the baby come out black?"

"When we die how will we know where to go? Is there a line?" 

He is a witty little guy too. Love his sense of humor..

Aunt Lexie was eating an artichoke one night and she started coughing. Without hesitation said..."Oh i get it.. artiCHOKE!" Everyone was cracking up. 

I was listening to a conversation Teegan and Camdyn had a little while back. Camdyn has an obsession with butterflies and was looking through her book and announced that she wanted to become a butterfly. Teegan said, "but Camdyn, you know you wouldn't be able to wear earrings anymore!" Really..that was the first thing that came to his mind? It may have actually changed Camdyn's thinking. 

He makes for the perfect oldest child..he is concerned for others, tries to do his best, and has a sweet relationship with his brother and sister. We are blessed that he is ours! 

Teegan and his aunt Lexie share a birthday. They haven't celebrated together since he was two..

It was a lot of fun. He requested an angry bird birthday and was spoiled with some fun gifts.

He took some time to quietly read Elder Hirschi's birthday card. He had a grin the whole time.

And this birthday girl had a good time too..

Nick & Lexie got him these cap guns..but maybe they were more for them to play with. :)
