One morning we woke up early, got ready and headed to Charlottesville. We had hoped that getting there right away, we would be able to tolerate the heat. Not so! It was terribly hot & humid.
We picked a few peaches here and there and were ready to go back to the air conditioned car.
We were stopped by a camera crew for the local news there and she was willing to say a few things (unlike some of us).
Josh told her, "Gosh mom..you're only here 2 weeks and you make the news?!" Teeg & Camdyn were posing with their fresh picked peaches...feeling important.

Later on..we enjoyed fresh peach pie..thanks to Josh's mom.
It was delish!

How fun! We have peach picking place (apples and veggies in the fall) a few hours from us near Tuscon. I love your posts and how you did you pictures :)
Your peach picking sounds fun other than the heat! Little Max looked beautiful on his blessing day. How special that Josh's mom could be there for it. Looks like you are keeping busy! How could it be other wise with 3 little ones.
