For Labor day weekend we met up with the Seegmiller family ...and the Furniss family who just happened to be in town, to play in Dallas. We're all for getting out of town every now and again. First up..Josh wanted to show us the area where he served his mission. We even saw his apartment and where he went running. The kids thought it was cool and were commenting about how we were walking where dad did as a missionary. It was strange for him to drive around town and relive all those memories. He told some stories and we met some missionaries in that area at the mission home. They told Teegan and Camdyn to prepare now. It was a good experience for us all.
That night we went to the Medieval dinner and tournament. We were assigned to the red knight and cheered for him. The kids loved it and I loved the food!
Max loved the horses. All that excitement wore him out!
Oh that husband of mine! He had me and the kids running through the hotel parking lot with full arms, asked the worker in the lobby to change the channel to the BYU game so he could catch the last two seconds to see the touchdown. Pretty sure he screamed a couple of times as he celebrated! No shame! I like him. ;)
We also went to the Dallas Aquarium which was super crowded but so amazing!!
