Happy Easter

We had a lovely Easter weekend. It started out with an Easter egg hunt at Tautphaus park. This was the kids first official..competing with other kids before the eggs are gone..kind of a hunt. They loved it. Teegan and Max even won a prize. However the line was too long, so we told Camdyn we owed her an ice cream cone. :) Much easier that way! 

Max, of course, didn't quite get the concept. He was hysterical! To him they were just balls. We would pick them up and throw them. ha. He was so excited! In the end, he managed to get 2 eggs which is perfect for him, but one lady sacrificed one of her daughter's eggs because she felt bad for him. (Like he really knows..but it was sweet.)

Why is it so cute to see a baby carrying around a basket? He thought he was cool stuff. He kept dumping his eggs out and putting them back in.
Mom & dad was so kind to come with us. They took Camdyn to her age group. Can you spot her in the crowd?

Teegan scored a lot of eggs! That boy is a competitive one. 

The next morning..the Easter bunny came!
Max..our alarm clock..slept in, which would normally be great except for when you have church at 9 a.m. He was not happy about us rushing him out of bed and wanted nothing to do with his basket. Glad the other two were happy to see their goods. They collected eggs hidden around the room, they were happy to find coins in some of them. 

Loving the warm temperatures..

Went for a walk/bike ride.
