December Happenings

Here's what we've been up to this month..

Crafting (I sure love my reindeer..even when they're grumpy. That was Camdyn's best smile).

Getting Christmas cards in the mail is one of my favorite things. We like to look at all of our wonderful friends and family as we're eating dinner. 

The kids also made snow flakes to hang above their bed. (Making these has almost been a daily thing for Teeg. I am so done picking up the scraps!) They love that when the heater turns on..they "dance" around. Teegan actually even loses sleep because he likes to watch them.

 We played charades..boys vs. girls. Losers had to run outside barefoot. Luckily there was no snow.
Camdyn wasn't so sure about this idea. The stars were so bright that night..so really the boys were the ones missing out. They thought it would be funny to lock us out. Our feet were numb!

Teegan had his Christmas program.. 

What is it about kids singing that makes it almost impossible for me to not tear up! They are so darn adorable. Teegan was happy that he knew 'Deck the Halls' because of the tricky lyrics.

Afterwards we had cookies and punch in his classroom. He wanted to sit by his drawings. 

 
As Camdyn and I were leaving the teacher passed out candy canes to the students. Camdyn was disappointed she didn't get one.
When Teegan got home from school he said.."Camdyn I have something exciting for you.." as he's rummaging through his back pack. She was anxious until she saw what he pulled out...a tiny piece of that candy cane. It was the curvy part too, so that should count for something. :)
I love the thought of him saving that last bite..thinking of his sister and putting it in his backpack!

He's so thoughtful. Like the time he got a small chocolate milk at the store and wanted to share it with dad. He kept what he saved for dad in the fridge but throughout the day would take a sip here and there. When dad got home Teegan gave him one drop of that chocolate milk. Ha! He wants to share..but he also wants what he wants.
 

mom, dad, Camdyn, and I went to Brylee's Christmas recital. It was SO fun to sit back at watch. They had some awesome performances. Camyn was thrilled every time dancers walked onto stage because she didn't want it to be over. She said Bry's dance was her very favorite.

And yes..my baby sister is taller than me. I feel jipped !
