Heritage Park

Before Josh started working..we figured we should take advantage of his time off and we went to visit the Murphy's for a few days. We went to Heritage Park...where Brigham Young declared, "this is the place" when the pioneers came into the Salt Lake Valley. It was fun to walk around the town and there were fun activities for the kids. It was just so blasted hot! 

We had fun watching the Native Americans doing their tribal dances. A highlight..was when the audience got up to join hands and danced in a circle. Cade got away from Becky and was totally happy dancing on his own. Ha! We also met someone who knew Imari & Brianne.

 Teegan, Cade, and Cole had their faces shaved..old fashioned style. When the barber mentioned he uses "toilet water" {as they used to call it} Teegan just started laughing. 

 

Josh was interested in the dental tools.. 

  

There were a lot of animals to look at but the kid's favorite...the piglets! They were cute.
