Things to remember Christmas 2011:
- Ella always having to be in the middle..between Teegan & Camdyn no matter what they were doing.
- Uncle Steven..a.k.a. chef boy-r-steve..cooking some delicious meals..especially when deep fried.
- The 3 bags of dead geese sitting in the mud room that Steven killed..and being the only one slightly creeped out by it!
- A visit from santa (a.k.a uncle Reed) at the Miles family party.
- Decorating gingerbread houses with Grandma.
- Building a snowman with papa with a snowball fight afterward.
- Cole loving max..hugging, kissing, tickling.
- Grizzly Discovery Center...and Becky attracting the older men. :) Teeg also saw a picture of an owl there with his name & felt pretty proud about it!
- Kids making homemade ice cream.
- Late night game & movie nights..like usual.
- Finding and cutting down the almost perfect tree & decorating it.
- The kids playing the Nintendo DS, leapster, dora dance on the wii, and twister.
- Sledding..watching the kids fly down the hill never gets old!
-Quote of the trip...ella came downstairs after about an hour after we put them to bed and said, "I can't sleep..Camdyn won't stop licking me!" (She sometimes thinks she's a kitty) We had a good laugh about that one.
-Josh & I going on a night ride..on the snowmobiles one night and it was 5 below. We went out to a field..and laid in the snow. The stars there are amazing! We heard a howl in the distance and weren't sure whether it was a wolf or a dog, but didn't want to wait and find out.

We thought it would be fun to make the cutting down of the Christmas tree a family event.
So the kids & I loaded in the snow coach and Josh pulled us behind his sled. It was tight..i kept convincing myself we weren't running out of oxygen! :) It was really fun though..we were singing Christmas songs while scoping out the tree selection through the foggy windows. Max even enjoyed himself. All the bouncing around put him to sleep.
We found a tree that was a keeper..Josh cut it down, then what? We hadn't really thought it through. So Josh put the tree up on one shoulder & carried it home on the sled that way! Teegan was so impressed with how strong dad is...like superman, but I was thinking he was crazy. The last thing we need is for his back to go or something. Once we got back to the cabin he admitted he couldn't see where he was going very well. That was comforting! :)

For some strange reason Josh wanted the kids to see the geese being gutted.
Camdyn was the only one interested. I was worried it would be hard for her to see or she'd have nightmares or something..but she was fine. Poor geese!
Max & Beckham were instant buddies.

And uncle Steven celebrated his 26th birthday.
For his gift we gave him Camdyn..mostly so he would put her to bed! :)
