We had a great holiday. We made a last minute decision to head to Charlottesville for the firework show. We had a rough get-go. Teegan exploded his glow stick all over us. We were covered in glowing polka dots..even in our hair. It was quite hilarious! And then no one seemed sure of where the fireworks would go off, of course..it a nearby tree was completely blocking our view.
Josh's exact words..."You've gotta be kidding me. Wrap it up, wrap it up!" We just laughed, waded all of our stuff up, grabbed the kids and ran to the other side of the tree.
Camdyn was very nervous in the beginning, even though we had been talking about fireworks all day. She didn't really know what she was in for. At one point she hid behind Josh and curled up into a ball, digging her face into the ground. Once we cuddled her, she enjoyed the show. {When we got back into the car, she told her doll.."It's not scary baby."} So cute! :) And I'm pretty sure Teegan talked through the entire show! He loved it. At one point he was standing and throwing his hands towards the sky as if he were in control.
These kids sure do make holidays fun (Josh does too of course). It makes me remember how magical everything was as a kid.

Ha! Well I'm glad it finally all worked out and had a blast. At least you all got to wear some pretty sweet glasses. :)
So adorable!! I love that flag on the shed. That really is perfect.
Looks like you had a really fun 4th of July! Loved everyones eye wear.
