I am absolutely positive that there is no better escape from worries and stresses than to the mountains especially with great company! It was a quick weekend trip, but a much needed escape.
We went on a nature walk that started with Camdyn chasing me with a dead snake on a stick (thanks Brylee) and ended with finding caterpillar nests that were slightly creepy.
Camdyn picked a bouquet of flowers for nana too.
And yes..that is my husband for you..riding the four wheeler in scrubs. He never changes after work.
On Saturday we went canoeing/rafting. The raft went very slowly with 9 people on it and a big cooler. It was sure a good arm workout. So relaxing (at times..when max wasn't screaming) and beautiful.
Mom and I found a fun photo opp in dad's sunglasses..
These kids still talk about this fun day.
Max needed a break. He just wants to be in the water. I love that Josh is in 5 in. of water with his life jacket..safety first!

Nothing like late night games. Balderdash had become a game for the cabin. It takes too much brain power but we are usually laughing, crying. Love being here and love this family of ours.
