October Thirty-One

Oh how I love Halloween..or "October thirty-one" as Teegan called it. 

I love all the anticipation and excitement watching the kids run from house to house. What is it about seeing kids dressed up that makes you just want to squeeze them?!

This year we decided to go trick-or-treating in my parent's neighborhood. There are millions of kids there..it was so fun! Some of the neighbors really got into the spooky holiday..like the mortician who had all sorts of props. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It's very unusual to be out without layers in Idaho.

Teegan the french fry..

This was the costume that inspired the theme. I spent a lot of time on ebay and it was so worth it. He was so excited to wear it to school. Watching this bag of fries run from behind was hilarious!

Cotton Candy Camdyn..

It took some convincing for her to be a food item. Once she saw the finished product she was excited. She loved the cone on her head ( and may have poked Teegan like a unicorn).

And Max..the cutest weenie on the block!

He was funny. He didn't want to be held..just wanted to walk like all the others and he held a little bag of candy the whole time. 

Max even met a ware wolf and wasn't afraid..he was just talkin' away to him. 

 

The kids thought it was so cool that the dogs dressed up too. 

Lexie and Toby even came trick-or-treating with us.

Max had to go to bed because he kept spinning around and would fall and hit his head. The excitement was just too much for him. Silly boy.
Can't wait for next year!
