Jamestown

We're here..we're alive.
A lot has happened within the last month..graduation, vacation, packing, moving across country, unpacking and sickness!
I'm so far behind but i'm determined to catch up.

As our last family adventure on the east coast we went to Jamestown. So glad we did!

It was a lot of fun..and educational to see where the first settlement was. 

The kids loved the Indian village, the forts, and probably most of all the ships.

They were impressed with all the skins.

 

Camdyn worked hard grinding the corn..

 

 

 

We even met a real crew member. Pictured above. :)

Max was tired of touring the ship..he just wanted a nap.

We told the kids we would go on a beach trip before we moved...and it breaks my heart we never did.
Here they are longing to be swimming in the water...

In the forts..there were chickens roaming freely around. They were a big hit with the kids. One came out of no where, popping right in front of Teeg and I have never seen him jump so high!

While visiting the armory, Teegan was honored to hold a sword. It was serious business..

 

Trying to get a chicken's attention..

 

 

I would be scared of these warriors.
