After we left the hospital..we came home and half heartedly threw a New Year's party!
We were wiped out. Who knew waiting around the hospital could be so exhausting? This was the one year I agreed to let the kids stay up until midnight (because my date was absent)...and we didn't last. After some yummy food, we all wanted to go to bed more than anything so we decided to have the count down at midnight. It was kind of funny! Five minutes after that we said good night.
We had fun building a snowman mommy and baby for Brianne and Baylinn. We sure had a fun stay with family, but we were missing Josh. It was nice to come home to him.
